About Suzy:
Suzy McCalley is a multi-disciplinary artist, entrepreneur, speaker and wellness educator from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. She is a successful actor, speaker, writer, singer and violin player. Her most recent play “Little Bird in The Night” went to New York City twice in 2016 and her play “A Goddess Tale'' developed in collaboration with the NC Black Rep premiered at the Hanes Brands Theater in Winston Salem, NC. Her debut solo music album ”Into the Flame“ released in September of 2017. In 2019 Suzy played lead actor in the feature independent film “Gem” by Nathan Ross Freeman. Most recently Suzy has written a screenplay “Yemanjá” which she hopes to produce in the near future.
Suzy incorporates her 15 years of experience as a 500HR Certified yoga and meditation teacher as well as her training in coaching and mindfulness practices as she helps her clients to heal and thrive. She’s also a Reiki Master Teacher, EFT (Emotional Freedom Tapping) and Access Bars practitioner. Clients and organizations such as the WSFCS School System, WS Sheriff's Office, Old Vineyard Behavioral Health, WFBMC and many other businesses that Suzy works with experience tremendous results: relieving stress, increasing their joy, wellbeing and impact!
In 2013, Suzy founded The Breathing Room Winston Salem, NC where she is based with her family. She also founded Breathing Access 501c3 in 2015 which brings arts and wellness programing to schools and organizations in her community.
